It is a transparent fluid from light yellow to light brown colour with low opalescence manufactured on the base of thoroughly selected solvents by adding loosening and thickening agents, emulsifiers, and inhibitors of corrosion. Includes ticsotropic and special peeling agents, which separate paint coating from ware surface.
Does not contain methanol and other high toxic solvents, organic and mineral acids, caustic alkali. It does not cause corrosion or destroy aluminum. Has a slight smell.
Toxicity:
Defined by content of main solvents: - methylenechloride MAC 50mg/m3, dimethylformamide MAC 10mg/m3.
Flammability:
Fire-resistant liquid.
Handling instruction: The stripper is evenly applied to up to 1 mm with a brush on the painted surface. If peeling does not occur before surface dries, after 5-7 minutes another layer of stripper is applied. 5-15 min after first application of stripper, paint coating is scraped out with spatula, the ware is wiped with a rag, flushed with surfactant-containing water, and defatted in a standard way to be then coated with new paint layer.
Safety measures: Work with the stripper shall be carried out in a room equipped with supply-and-exhaust ventilation or at a well aired room, in safety glasses, rubber gloves and smock.
Transportation and storage. The stripper should be stored and transported in metal or glass box, at not more than 35oC. Plastic boxes are not recommended as they undergo destruction after contact with the content. Slim walled boxes are neither recommended due to ability of contained solvents to penetrate through the wall.
